Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Nyerere NP
Your driver will pick you up in Dar es Salaam and take you to Nyerere National Park. The estimated arrival time is 5 to 6 hours. We’ll drop you off at the lodge so you can check in and eat lunch there. You will depart for a boat safari along the powerful Rufiji River in the late afternoon. Numerous animal species, including hippos, crocodiles, elephants, giraffes, and several bird species, may be found in the Rufiji River. Other large cats including lions, leopards, and others may be seen drinking from the river. You will also observe some of the nearly 350 wildlife species that have been spotted in this park. Overall, this is a wonderful way to appreciate Tanzania’s wildlife and scenery.

Day 2: Game Drive
Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation and take you to the park for a full day of game viewing. This will provide you the chance to see and appreciate the authentic beauty of African wildlife.
Lions, wild dogs, buffaloes, bush buck, impalas, elands, baboons, zebras, and bigger kudus are among the animals you’ll see. You may visit several areas of the park and get amazing photos on our 4×4 safari land cruiser.
You will take a picnic lunch break at midday where your guide will choose a spot with shade and water nearby to observe animals come to drink. This spot will have a clear view of everything so that no predator may approach silently.
You will be dropped off at the lodge for dinner and sleep around 6:30 p.m.

Day 3: Walking Safari. Dar es Salaam
You will be picked up from the accommodation at 6:00 am and driven to the park’s entrance gate for a walking safari. You will meet the armed ranger, your tour guide, who will be your tour guide during the walking safari. While out on a walk, you’ll get up close to nature and discover more about the bush and its tiny species. The armed ranger will respond to all of your inquiries and has in-depth knowledge of the park. Walking into such a huge, uninhabited section of the natural reserve is breathtaking. While you might glimpse a few giraffes or follow in the footsteps of some elephants, our walking safaris are designed to help you notice things that you would miss on a game drive or boat. You will gain greater knowledge about the ecology in which the creatures are found. Additionally, you will learn amazing facts about insects, forests, and the diverse bird life, as well as how to recognize animal footprints and other indicators.The walks are slow-paced and takes almost 2 to 3 hrs.
You will return to the lodge after the hike, pack your belongings, and travel back to Dar es Salaam.
