Tour Plan
Today we begin our safari program with our destination being Tarangire national park. Our guide will pick you up from your Hotel in Arusha in the safari jeep and head to Tarangire National Park. During the 2.5-hour drive you will enjoy the beautiful nature, varied landscapes and local villages. When we arrive in Tarangire you will do afternoon game drives for the rest of the day. You will also enjoy a picnic lunch near the river while watching animals drink water.
Tarangire is known for its large elephant population, baobab trees and tree-climbing African pythons. The park takes its name from the river that flows across the length of the park. After the trip you will be driven to the nearby selected accommodation, for evening leisure, hot dinner, and overnight.
Accomodation - Eileen’s Trees Inn Meals - Half Board BasisVery early in the morning after breakfast, with a packed lunch you will be driven towards the Serengeti and arrive at around noon. You will then enjoy a half day Game Drive in Central Serengeti, lying at the heart of this spectacular national park. It has abundant wildlife, large numbers of big cats and quintessential Serengeti landscapes of acacia-studded savanna. Resident wildlife makes this part of the Serengeti a fantastic year-round destination. Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world and it has the greatest concentration of game in Africa.
Accommodation - Sound of Silence Serengeti Tented Camp
Today we go to the famous Serengeti.
After breakfast, you will spend a full day of game drives in the areas where the migration of animals takes place where you may encounter the migration consisting of over 2 million animals. They also attract the attention of predators like cheetah, lions and leopards and you may be able to see a band of lion’s gang up for a hunt. Here you will get an opportunity to see the big five. You will exit the Serengeti in the afternoon to head to the lodge near Lake Manyara for Dinner and overnight.
Accommodation - African Sunrise Lodge
You will be picked up early in the morning after your breakfast and driven to Lake Manyara National Park for a half day game drive. Here you will see the forest, the grassy floodplain, across the alkaline lake, to the jagged blue volcanic peaks that rise from the endless Maasai Steppes. In addition to that you will experience large group of buffalo, wildebeest and zebra herds congregate on these grassy plains, and so do the giraffes. The lake within the park is home to thousands of flamingos and other large birds.
The park also has a high population of birds with more than 400 species having been recorded. Then the driver will transfer you to Arusha/Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home or other destination.
