


Morning pick up at the Hotel and head to our first location, Kariakoo market.
Kariakoo Market is the busiest and the biggest market that also serves neighbouring landlocked countries such as Congo and Burundi.

This is a trading spot for fish and seafood that were caught or processed in the Kivukoni area as well as their neighbouring places. Throughout the day there is fish being delivered by the fishermen and also different vendors go to the market to purchase them for business or home usage. You will get to see a lot of different types of seafood at a very affordable prices both raw and cooked. Seafood like Prawns, Octopus, Squid, Shrimps, Sardines and other fish that the fishermen were lucky to catch that day. When visiting here you will spend 30 minutes only.

It is located 9km North of the city centre at Makumbusho. This open air museum features a collection of authentically constructed dwellings illustrating traditional life in various parts of Tanzania. Each house is furnished with typical items and surrounded by small plots of crops, while villagers demonstrate traditional skills such as weaving, pottery and carving. Traditional tribal dance also take place daily. When visiting here you will spend 1 hour only.

The Slipway in Masaki, Dar es Salaam is an interesting and vibrant spot — part waterfront shopping mall, part cultural hub, part leisure complex.
Culture & Art
There are local artisans and craft stalls. Good place to pick up “made in Tanzania” souvenirs.

This Monument is found in Kivukoni ward in Ilala District of Dar es salaam and it is a memorial to the askari who fought in the British Campaign against the German Army in East Africa in the World war 1, and it was unveiled in 1927. When visiting here you will spend only 10 minutes.

The National Museum of Tanzania is a consortium of five Tanzania museums whose purpose is to preserve and show exhibits about the history and natural environment of Tanzania. It preserves collection and exhibitions covering the fields like Archaelogy, Paleontology, Biology, Ethnography, History and Contemporary Arts. It is composed of a theatre, studio, library, storytelling room, children’s library, curio shop, restaurant and other facilities.
