2-Day Flying Package: Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park Itinerary
Scenic flight and boat trip
Kick off your journey by taking the flight over Tanzania's landscapes, arriving at Nyerere National Park, where the thrill of safari adventures awaits. Our team of driver and tour guide will be at Mtemere airstrip to welcome you. You will go for breakfast and then proceed to take the BOAT safari for the next 2 hours along the Rufiji River. Here you have a great chance you seeing crocs, hippos, and other animals and birds.
On conclusion of your boat ride, you will go for animal viewing (game drives) in our safari car. Here you will see a lot of animals including elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, many antelopes, buffalos, and you might even see the leopard on a good day.
You will break for a hot picnic lunch in the afternoon. Then with our guide team, continue with afternoon game drives until sunset when you will drive to the lodge for diner, rest and overnight.
Flight to Zanzibar
With no planned activities on your last day, you will enjoy and early breakfast followed by a drive to the Mtemere airstrip for your morning flight back to Zanzibar. The flight will be at 7:00am. On arrival in Zanzibar, our driver will pick you and drop you off at your selected hotel.
