Pick up from the hotel in Arusha, you will be greeted by your safari guide who will assist you with your luggage and provide a brief overview of the itinerary. After this, you will embark on a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park, which is approximately a 6/5-hour journey depending on road conditions. During the drive, you may have the opportunity to see local villages and landscapes unique to Tanzania. Upon reaching Serengeti National Park, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive. This is an excellent time to spot wildlife as many animals are more active during cooler parts of the day. Look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, and various antelope species. After your game drive, you will head to Kontiki Camp for dinner and overnight.
