4 Day Nyerere National Park (Selous) with BOAT and Maasai Village Overview

This is a 4 days and 3 nights African Safari tour to the beautiful Nyerere national park in Tanzania, formally named Selous Game Reserve. This tour has 2 full days in the national park, giving you a lot of time to enjoy the wildlife in the park. There is also a Boat Safari in the Rufiji river with our small boats, where you will observe hippos, crocodiles, and birds and you cruise across the length of the mighty river. Enjoy your lunch meals inside the bush.

Day 1:

Transfer from Dar es Salaam to Nyerere park. Afternoon Boat Safari

Day 2: Full day game drives in 4*4 jeep inside the national park.

Day 3: Full day game drives in our 4*4 inside the national park.

Day 4: Choose from Maasai village visit or Walking Safari activities. Afterwards, you will travel back to the city.

All meals included during safari and 3 days Accommodation.

4 Day Nyerere National Park (Selous) with BOAT and Maasai Village Itinerary

Day 1

Dar es Salaam and travel to Nyerere National Park

Depart from Dar es Salaam and travel to Nyerere National Park (Selous Park) for an afternoon Boat Safari and animal viewing from the Rufiji River. Overnight stay at Nyerere Tented Camp or Selous Safari Lodge, located 6 kms outside the National Park.

Day 2

Nyerere National Park

Enjoy a full day of game drive and animal viewing in Selous National Park, with a picnic lunch inside the park. Overnight stay at Nyerere Tented Camp or Selous Safari Lodge, located 6 kms outside the National Park.

Day 3

Nyerere National Park

Enjoy another full day of game drive and animal viewing in Selous National Park, with a picnic lunch inside the park. Overnight stay at Nyerere Tented Camp or Selous Safari Lodge, located 6 kms outside the National Park.

Day 4

Nyerere National Park to Dar es Salaam

Early morning Walking Safari near the national park, followed by breakfast at the lodge. Transfer back to Dar es Salaam via Morogoro. Drop off at the ferry station.
