Welcome to Tanzania. Our representative will meet you at the airport (JRO) and will transfer you to Arusha town. The journey is about 45 minutes to the hotel.

Transfer by road this morning to Tarangire National Park. Stop for a picnic lunch along the way, then enter the park and enjoy an exhilarating wildlife drive en route to your camp/lodge this afternoon. This seldom-visited park, known as the “Home Of Elephants,” teems with wildlife. Enormous herds of elephants scratch the dry riverbed for underground streams while migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle and eland crowd the lagoons, and wild dogs roam the plains. Tarangire is also the one place in Tanzania where visitors regularly see dry-country antelope such as the Oryx and gerenuk. After the game drive, you will be dropped at your lodge where you can rest and dine with the beautiful view of African nature. Dinner & overnight at Marera Valley Lodge

The day will start with a Sunrise game drivesat 0615am to capture the best photos of the rising sun in the African wilderness. Interesting wildlife activities by sunrise not to be missed. Drive back to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and a rest. Depart for Manyara, Mto wa mbu village. Check in the lodge.Cultural tour day!

Today you and the family can have an early morning sunrise game drive in the national park and see the animals as they search for food early morning. Afterwards you will return to the lodge for a lovely breakfast/ brunch and refreshment.

Or optional; Depart for a cultural/eco tour in the village riding mountain bikes! Enjoy a hot African lunch in the village prepared by Local women who run a Self-Help community development group. Amazing green village of farmers and a small business community. It is a village whereby a good number of different tribes from different parts of Tanzania live together in harmony and peace. From Nilotics to Cushitic, From Bantu to Xhosa etc. Evening visit a Maasai village for more cultural interaction. Dinner and overnight;

Breakfast, drive leisurely down to lake Manyara Park.

The Park is formed with 5 different vegetation zones. These zones support a good variety of wild animals and birds. The park has the biggest baboon troupes in Tanzania. The lake is decorated with many aqua birds and singing hippos. It is here where you can see the tree climbing lions!

In the afternoon you have the option to visit a nearby Maasai village for more cultural tourism.

It has abundant wildlife, large numbers of big cats and quintessential Serengeti landscapes of acacia-studded savannah. Resident wildlife makes this part of the Serengeti a fantastic year-round destination, and you can watch the herds of the Great Migration pass through the area. Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world and it has the greatest concentration of animals in Africa. They also attract the attention of predators like cheetah and hyena and you may be able to see a pride of lions’ gang up for a hunt.

Full day wildlife game drive in the incredible Ndutu plains area of the Serengeti with beautiful landscapes. This starts from sunrise to late afternoon whereby you will have a short break to enjoy your picnic lunch before you proceed with late afternoon to sunset game drive.

Enjoy the day in the plains migration route which are teeming with hundreds of thousands of wildebeest, Zebras, gazelles. Enjoy more game drives around the lake Ndutu area before you retire to the camp for dinner and overnight. (This is very special day for your safari. Migration of wildebeests are among the best event to spot in your visit to Tanzania).

On this day our safari focus will be the Seronera area of the Serengeti – popular for seeing the big cats – leopards, lions, and cheetahs. Enjoy non-stop Game Drives with our guide giving you details of the various animals you will see.

After breakfast, you will travel through the adventurous trail that takes you into the Ngorongoro crater. Grass steppes and acacia forests are home to almost all the species of animals found in the East African savannah. In only a few hours driving from Tarangire NP, you will have the chance of spotting the big five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros and leopard. Designated as a World Heritage site, the crater measures 259km2, and is surrounded by walls towering to 610m. The mineral-rich crater floor – enclosed on all sides – has virtually formed its own ecosystem. From forested walls to grassy plains, and woodlands to lakes, the diversity of habitats are home to a wide variety of bird and animal life, in large numbers. You will get an opportunity to see predators such as lion, hyena, jackal and bat-eared fox, the cheetah and leopard. Lunch would be at hippo pool picnic site. After extensive game viewing and a picnic in the crater, you will retire for overnight at the luxurious Ngorongoro Serena lodge.

Today you will leave Ngorongoro crater for a leisurely drive back to Arusha town. You will pass through the Ngorongoro highlands and enjoy seeing wild animals on the route. Enjoy a town tour of Arusha with a very good lunch at a local restaurant accompanied by our guide.

The day will start with a drive towards Mount Kilimanjaro for a great view of Africa’s tallest mountain. From there you will head to the Upare mountain ranges towards the village of Usangi. This is about 2 hours drive from Arusha. There are two mountain ranges – North and South Pare ranges, which rise to 2,463 m at Shengena Peak. They form part of the Eastern Arc of mountains. The Pare people live in the area. Enjoy the cultural visit to the village of Usangi and interact with local women in the market and in a selected local homestead. Enjoy local food prepared by the women of Usangi.

This is the end of the holiday program and you will check out of the lodge and go to Mafia airport to catch your flight to Dar es Salaam to connect to your international flight.
