The 4-days itinerary for Mikumi National Park and Udzungwa Mountains National Park offers a unique blend of wildlife viewing and hiking experiences in two of Tanzania's most fascinating Mikumi National Park is known for its abundant wildlife, including large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. Your driver will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel and you will start a trip to Mikumi.
When you reach there, you will start a half day game drive at the Park, Here you will see animals like Giraffes, Zebras, Elephants, Hippos, Leopards and a lot of bird species. You will have your lunch at the park and later in the evening you will go to your Lodge accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
When you wake up in the morning you will have breakfast at the Lodge then your tour guide will pick you up to go for a full day game drive at the Park. You will have an opportunity to explore the park’s stunning environment and its beautiful wildlife, take photos and enjoy nature. You will have your lunch at the park and in the evening you will go back to your Lodge for a nice dinner and an overnight stay.
In the morning after you’ve had your breakfast at the Lodge, your tour guide will pick you up and you will start a drive to Uluguru Mountains. The drive will take approximately 2hours. When you reach there you will start hiking activities, In the afternoon you will have your lunch there and continue with hiking afterwards.
In the evening you will return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
When you wake up in the morning you will have your breakfast at the lodge, then you will go to Mikumi park for a half day game drive. Afterwards you will start a trip to you Dar/your next desired destination.
