This journey begins with a flight from Zanzibar to Nyerere national park. This journey will include a boat trip were you will also see monkeys and monitor lizards on top of the trees at the river banks. You can have a short-day safari or a full day safari to explore the whole lakes of Selous. You will have the opportunity to see the big 5 as well as camping.

Fly from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park.
Embark on an unforgettable adventure with our private 3-day flying package from the breathtaking beaches of Zanzibar to the pristine wilderness of Nyerere National Park in Tanzania. This carefully crafted experience allows you to explore the unspoiled beauty of one of Tanzania's most stunning national parks, part of the greater Selous eco-system, home to diverse wildlife, sparkling rivers, and lush landscapes.
Arrive at the airport in Zanzibar at 7:00 am in time to catch your morning flight to Mtemere air strip in Nyerere park. On arrive you will be met by our driver guide who will welcome you and drive you out of the airstrip and into the park to start your tour of the Selous park. Here you will see a lot of wildlife, such as elephants, lions, wild dogs, buffalos and many more.
Enjoy a bush lunch inside the park, then carry on with after noon drives to see more wildlife and birds.
Name of accommodation: Nyerere Tented Camp or Selous Safari lodge.

Full day in Nyerere National Park.
Early in the morning after breakfast you will proceed with Game drive.
You will see wildebeest, lions, rhinos, buffaloes, leopards, warthogs, elephants and other lots of animals. The Big 5 which are lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Rhinos & Leopards are numerously found in this park. Nyerere National Park is one among the largest parks of which due to the whole day game drive you will get to see every angel of it. The park covers almost 30,892km square. You will enjoy the beautiful land scape, vegetation, birds, wildebeest and elephants. You will get to see large number of lions which make Nyerere National Park one of the best places to see lots of lions.
You will exit the park in the afternoon and go to the lodge for lunch and refreshment. At 4:00pm you will go for a Boat Trip in the Rufiji river and see more wildlife from the waters.

Early morning flight Departure.
Early in the morning you will have your breakfast and then check out of the lodge and transfer to Mtemere airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar island. do a short walking safari, later on you will begin your safari from Nyerere National Park to Dar Es Salaam.
On arrival in Zanzibar, our transfer driver will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.
This is the end of the safari service.
