Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you will be greeted by your guide who will assist you with your luggage and provide a brief overview of the itinerary. Afterward, you will embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, which is approximately a two-hour journey.
Once you arrive at Tarangire, prepare for an exciting game drive. This park is renowned for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. During the game drive, keep an eye out for various wildlife species including lions, zebras, and giraffes. A picnic lunch will be provided in the park, allowing you to enjoy your meal amidst the stunning African landscape. In the evening, you will head to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 2: Karatu – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at Marera Valley Lodge, begin your journey to Serengeti National Park, a drive of about five hours through the scenic landscapes of Tanzania. Upon arrival, enjoy a packed lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. The Serengeti is renowned for its vast plains and abundant wildlife, including the “Big Five” and many other species.

Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Region
Start your day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, a prime time to experience the park’s incredible wildlife as animals are most active in the cooler hours. Spend the morning exploring the sweeping plains and tracking iconic species before enjoying a packed lunch amidst the wilderness.
In the afternoon, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most extraordinary natural wonders on Earth. The scenic drive takes about two hours. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge on the crater’s rim or nearby highlands, where you can unwind and enjoy dinner while reflecting on the day’s adventures.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After breakfast at your lodge, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. The crater floor hosts a wide range of wildlife including lions, elephants, hippos, and flamingos. Spend the morning exploring before departing around midday.
A packed lunch will be provided en route as you travel back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
