Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Morogoro – Mikumi National Park
Begin your safari with a morning pickup from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and transfer to the railway station. Board Tanzania's modern Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) for a comfortable journey to Morogoro, accompanied by a Connect African Safaris representative who will assist you throughout the transfer.
Upon arrival in Morogoro, continue by private vehicle to Mikumi National Park, enjoying scenic views of the Uluguru Mountains and the picturesque Tanzanian countryside along the way.
After arriving at the park, meet your professional English-speaking safari guide and begin your first game drive. Spend approximately one hour exploring Mikumi's open plains in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, impalas, wildebeest, lions, and many other fascinating wildlife species.
Stop for a delicious hot lunch at Mikumi Cottages Restaurant, located inside the national park, before continuing with your afternoon game drive to maximize your wildlife viewing opportunities.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive Safari
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park. Explore the famous Mkata Floodplain while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of bird species. Hot lunch will be served inside the park restaurant before continuing the afternoon with game drives. Return to your camp/ lodge at sunset for Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Maasai village– Morogoro – Dar es Salaam
