Meet at your hotel in Dar es Salaam at 6:00 am. Transfer to Mikumi NP via Morogoro town. stop for lunch at a restaurant in Morogoro Town. Arrive in Mikumi, do a game drive with a sunset view and watch the animals drink water at the hippo pool. Some of the prominent features to seek after in the game drive include the artificial hippo pools filled with huge groups of hippos. After sunset, transfer to the Camp Bastian for overnight.
After an early breakfast, depart for a full day of wildlife viewing in Mikumi National Park. Explore the Mkata Floodplain, one of the park's most prominent wildlife-viewing areas, in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, impalas, wildebeests, and a variety of bird species.
Enjoy lunch inside the park before continuing your game drive into the afternoon. Later, exit the park and return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, head into Mikumi National Park for a morning game drive. Continue exploring the park's wildlife-rich landscapes until around midday, enjoying further opportunities to observe wildlife and take photographs.
In the afternoon, transfer by road to Morogoro town. Check in at your accommodation and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you head to the starting point and hike towards Choma waterfalls. The local guide will tell you everything you need to know and show you his knowledge about medicines plants and birds. This is more of a walk through the villages on a steep dirt trail than it is a true “hike” through treacherous terrain. This is the best way to get closer to the local people of that area. After the hike, you will begin your journey back to Dar es salaam city. You will be dropped off at your hotel/airport/ferry port.
