3-Day Mikumi National Park Safari with Maasai Village Visit

Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Morogoro – Mikumi National Park – Maasai Cultural Experience
Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your selected location in Dar es Salaam. Travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned safari vehicle as you journey west through the scenic landscapes of eastern Tanzania toward Mikumi National Park.
Stop in Morogoro town for lunch before continuing to Mikumi. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and enjoy some time to relax after the journey.
At around 4:00 PM, visit a nearby Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience. Meet members of one of Tanzania's most iconic communities and gain first-hand insight into their traditional way of life. Learn about their pastoral lifestyle, livestock keeping, local customs, and handcrafted artwork, before enjoying an energetic traditional dance performance.
Return to your lodge in the early evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park
After a hot breakfast at the lodge, depart for a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park. Commonly seen animals include giraffes, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, several species of antelope, and, with some luck, lions.
Stop for lunch at the restaurant inside the park, where you can relax and stretch your legs before continuing your wildlife adventure.
In the afternoon, continue exploring different areas of the park in search of more wildlife while your professional safari guide shares fascinating insights into the animals, birds, and ecosystems of Mikumi National Park.
Return to your lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay.

Stop en route for lunch in Morogoro before continuing to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or preferred location, marking the end of your memorable Mikumi safari.
