This is a trading spot for fish and seafood that were caught or produced in the Kivukoni area as well as their neighbouring places. Throughout the day there is fish being delivered by the fishermen and also different vendors go to the market to purchase them for business or home usage. You will get to see a lot of different types of seafood at a very affordable prices both raw and cooked. Seafood like Prawns, Octopus, Squid, Shrimps, Sardines and other fish that the fishermen were lucky to catch that day. When visiting here you will spend 30 minutes only.
It is located 9km North of the city centre at Makumbusho. This open air museum features a collection of authentically constructed dwellings illustrating traditional life in various parts of Tanzania. Each house is furnished with typical items and surrounded by small plots of crops, while villagers demonstrate traditional skills such as weaving, pottery and carving. This is a sandy stretch on the Msasani Peninsula of Dar es salaam that is very popular with the Locals. This Monument is found in Kivukoni ward in Ilala District of Dar es salaam and it is a memorial to the askari who fought in the British Campaign against the German Army in East Africa in the World war 1, and it was unveiled in 1927. When visiting here you will spend only 10 minutes.
This is a society that was formed after the death of the founder of the Tingatinga paintings, with the aim to continue the art of painting in its founder’s sense. It was registered in 1990. This society includes both men and women and they paint different paintings like animals, plants and village scenes on chipboards with bicycle paints. This society also operates a painting school for the Tingatinga style of art, but on the other hand it promotes the art sales internationally and enable its members to earn a living.

The National Museum of Tanzania is a consortium of five Tanzania museums whose purpose is to preserve and show exhibits about the history and natural environment of Tanzania.
